I got the wrong sizes :(
I had the Saalt soft cups and while I liked them, I had trouble using them (beginner here). The Bloody Buddy has been practically fool proof. Perfect for a newbie.
So far I like them. I ordered the small and large. But for my body type I should have order two small ones. The large one is too big for me. Otherwise I liked the product. 😊
This is the first menstrual cup that I’ve tried and so far I’m liking it! I heard that with any menstrual cup there’s a learning curve and it’s true. I think it’s different for everyone.
If I put it in right, I don’t feel it and I forget about it. I haven’t had any leaking, which isn’t the case for me with tampons. I might as well not wear a tampon at all with how little they hold. That’s not true with the Bloody Buddy cup. I don’t have to change/dump it every couple hours like pads and tampons. I can go swimming, exercise, and do anything without worrying.
Like I said, it takes a bit of time because there’s a learning curve. But I don’t have any complaints.
I became a convert to menstrual cups about a year ago and will never go back to tampons--no cramping, no leaking, no tampons in the trash and no remembering to change a tampon every few hours on a heavy day. After my Diva cup slipped out of my fingers into a toilet, I decided to try the Bloody Buddy, and I'm in love. While I worried it was a little stiff at first, insertion is so much easier with this cup. I haven't had any difficultly with it opening or getting properly aligned. The ridges make it easy to hold. Aesthetically, I like that it's available in black and doesn't stain. Plus, I have a backup cup for the same price.
