Doesn't work if you have a prolapse.

I'm just disappointed that it doesn't work if you have a prolapse and many women do. I wish you carried a disc for women who do. The cup gets pushed down and out if you have a prolapse.

Sensitivity Concerns

I bought the Bloody Buddy 2-pack in purple. I wanted to invest in 2 large cups, just in case one of them fell into the toilet and I needed a backup. First and foremost, I inquired about the firmness level, as I have sensitivity. I was diagnosed with pelvic floor dysfunction, bordering on vaginismus. I was told the BBC firmness level was a 3. I previously used the Sckoon cup and the Saalt Soft cup. Both were great, but there were drawbacks. The Sckoon has a thick rim, which made it difficult to hold down my fold. Not too bad, but I still wanted to browse the market. The Saalt Soft was great and comfortable, but opening the fold was such a pain. Sometimes it would behave and open quickly, while other times I was constantly adjusting, removing, and giving it a good rinse for another go at insertion. Based on my past experiences, I was on the hunt for a cup that did not compromise on the rim thickness yet popped open easily. The Bloody Buddy fit the bill. The spokesperson I talked to also said it can help with bladder support, and I found that to be true. I noticed less frequent trips to the bathroom after using the cup, although this fades 1-2 weeks after my cycle. While the cup is great, in the sense that it easily opened each time, I did encounter issues. I discovered after boiling the cup my second cycle that the inner top half was already dyed faintly red. I always wash my cup (both inside and out) with cold water to prevent staining when emptying. I then use vaginal wash to get rid of my period’s odor at the end of my cycle. The outside of the cup still shined and retained its nice purple hue, but the top half of the inside was already stained. This was disappointing, as I did not expect the cup to stain so early on in use. I can probably expect the second cup (which I have not used) in the pack to stain early on too. Upon wearing the cup the first 2 days of each period, there is discomfort and awareness of a cup inside me. I owe this to my pelvic dysfunction, which increases my sensitivity down there. It will eventually go away by the third day and not return. My last concern is the cup losing its suction when I am asleep. I noticed this happening almost every night in my last cycle. I woke up only to discover wetness on my panties and realize I was leaking badly. It was irritating having to rinse and readjust the cup when I simply got up to pee, as I was still sleepy. I expected the cup to hold on throughout my sleep like it did before. I know for a fact that the cup was fully open and properly sealed against my vaginal walls. It could have been my horizontal slumbering position and/or my pelvic floor muscles that contributed to the suction loosening. For those with sensitivity, this cup may or may not be for you. I would still recommend it to those who are not sensitive.
